Protect local records first, then troubleshoot. DailyAlbum has no account sync, so do not begin by deleting the app.
Getting started
Choose a listening service on first launch and decide whether to enable a daily reminder. Today’s album stays stable for the day. If unfinished, it becomes tomorrow’s first album. Finishing one album completes the daily check-in, and you can continue with another.
A listening service will not open
This app opens albums in Apple Music or Spotify.
- Make sure the relevant music app is installed and up to date.
- Try another service from the album detail.
- If no exact album is known, DailyAlbum offers a verified alternative or a search. It does not invent an exact link.
Artwork is missing
Check the network connection and reopen the page. A cover-loading failure does not change the daily draw, heard status, ratings, or timeline; the app keeps a local placeholder.
Backup and restore
Open Data and backup at the bottom of Settings and export a complete .dailyalbumbackup file. CSV is for reading and analysis, not restoration. The app creates a local safety backup before a restore.
Support and feedback
Send bug reports, suggestions, or privacy questions to the address below. Include the DailyAlbum version, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, interface language, steps taken, and the message on screen. Email support in the app prefills version and system details for you to review before sending. It never attaches ratings or listening records automatically.
